Worst part of finals is over. I only have one more thing to turn in.
To those of you who've e-mailed me, I'm sorry I haven't responded yet. I'll get to your messages starting tomorrow. I'll have new stuff posted soon. Thanks so much for your patience!

Not much new stuff in my inbox lately. I think most people are really busy with school (myself included). But don't be sad. The two new pics I did receive are wonderful, so you have something nice to look at while you procras... erm, study.
Artist lightning_storm, who is new to this site, has a lovely color pic of Battousai in her gallery. I like the colors and various textures in the background. I also like the way the swords were drawn. Very nicely done. Thanks so much for sharing your artwork, lightning_storm. Do have a look, everyone.
Eiko Makimachi has a new pencil drawing to add to her gallery. It's a lovely pic of Kamatari Honjou, everyone's favorite scythe-wielding cross-dresser. I really like the expression on Kamatari's face. And the pose and shading are excellent. Thanks for the pic, Eiko. Please check it out, folks.
For those of you in the throes of final exams and papers.... What the heck are you doing here reading my site? Get back to work, you naughty slackers. ;-) Seriously, good luck on your various projects. And I'll hopefully see you folks more often during the summer.

Plenty of great story updates and artwork. And before anyone mentions it, yes, I'm aware that the formatting for Fitz's story is still that of the older version of this website. I never did get a chance to update it. It'll have to wait until this summer. Anyway, check out all this new stuff. It's wonderful!
Chapter 4 of Conspirator's delightful story, An Unexpected Lesson, has been added. In this chapter, Kenshin finally dons the onnagata costume and goes on stage. Woohoo!
After nearly a year-long hiatus, Fitz has updated her marvelous AU fic, My Life. It's a shorter chapter, but Fitz promises more. I'm so pleased she is writing RK again.
Artist sherlgirl has a couple new pics up in the gallery. The first one is a pic inspired by Angrybee's Hitokiri Stainmaster story. Quite humorous! And the second is a tender moment between Aoshi and Megumi.
Pechan has a great new pencil drawing of Saitoh posted. In it, Saitoh is running a gloved hand along a bloodied sword. He looks pretty intimidating.
The Silly Koneko also has a great new pic for her gallery. A very cool pic of Battousai. I really like the bright colors.
Anyway, a lot of nice stuff. These ought to keep site visitors busy for a while.

A treasure trove of gorgeous art today. Well, actually, it was technically yesterday, but I got interrupted before I could upload. Anyway, do take a look at all these artists' wonderful works, everyone.
Hiko4412, an artist whose unique style I've admired for quite some time in non-RK works, has finally done a Kenshin fan art (much to my joy.) Sparse and slightly grim with marvelous shading and composition. Thanks so much to Hiko4412 for allowing me to post his art.
Ayanami Girl has a great new drawing that's bursting with color. Done with water color and Prisma color pencil crayons. I love the scene that Ayanami girl has come up with. It's very effective at conveying mood and emotion. Thanks for letting me post this, Ayanami Girl.
Artist jbramx2 has a couple new pictures up on her gallery. As usual, her colorful works are just gorgeous. The White Tiger, Jade Concubine-inspired pic is especially great. It looks like it could be a real movie poster. Thanks for letting me post these, jbramx2.
Chiisai Lammy has two very funny pics that are quite different from her usual style. These are from a comic that, unfortunately, I don't know the URL of. Chiisai Lammy or s-girl: If either of you see this, could you please post the URL of the comic that these pictures belong to on the comment page? Thanks! And of course, thank you, Chiisai Lammy, for allowing me to post your art.
Pechan has two excellent pencil drawings to add to her gallery. One is of Hiko and the other is of Tokio, dressed up in Saitoh's uniform. I really like Pechan's drawing style. Clean, and very pleasant to look at. Thanks for sending these in, Pechan.
The Silly Koneko has two fantastic new drawings of Saitoh Hajime. The first, in black and white, is a pic of Saitoh and sword. Very cool. And the second is in color, and it's rather, bloody. Great! Thanks for sharing these terrific pics, Silly Koneko.

Apologies for the lack of updates, but due to circumstances beyond my control, I haven't had a chance to work on the site. I should have some time this weekend. Unless plans are changed yet again (not by me.)

Plenty of cool stuff to read and see. Please have a look at the following contributors' works, everyone!
Akai Kitsune, one of my favorite fan fic authors, updated her epic AU fic, Light of the Snow Red Village, a few days ago. I've just gotten around to posting it now. (Shame on me. Heh.) If you haven't read any of Akai's works, you're in for a treat. Her characterizations are first rate.
The Silly Koneko, a new artist at this site, has some really wonderful pics to contribute to the gallery. One color drawing of Kenshin and two other black and white pics of Zanza and Aoshi fighting Kenshin. Cool unique style. Great contrast and shading. Thanks so much to The Silly Koneko for sharing these pics.
Chiisai Lammy has another great work of art up in her gallery. A picture of Saitou and Tokio, I really like the composition of this particular piece. Nice contrast between the warm colors on the right, and the cool ones on the left. Thanks, Chiisai Lammy, for sending this in.
Pechan has another beautiful drawing for her gallery. This one's an action-packed scene of Tokio fighting Kaoru. I think that's the first pic I've ever seen of this particular fight pairing. Great fluid movement on this pic. Thanks for the contribution, Pechan.

Plenty of nice artwork and walls today. Do have a look around, folks. And to those who celebrate it, have a Happy Easter.
Lady Himura Shishi, a new artist to this site, has some very cool pics posted in the gallery (referenced from official manga pics). Nice shading and coloring. Thanks for sending these in, Lady Himura Shishi!
Pechan has two gorgeous new drawings of Saitou and Tokio in her gallery. Wonderful stuff as always. Thanks so much for sending these, Pechan!
Jrnn Doyle has a new pic of Hiko in the gallery. He's done in a *ahem* slightly different style than usual. Heh. I also moved one of Jrnn Doyle's older fanfic pics into her gallery. This one was originally submitted about a year ago: fanart for Conspirator's Descent into Madness. Thanks for the new art, Jrnn Doyle.
Monica has a great new pic of Yahiko posted. Yahiko doesn't seem to get much fan art drawn of him, so this pic was a nice treat. Bright colors, and wonderful choice of Seisohen clothing (as opposed to the usual yellow and green.) Thanks for the new pic, Monica.
Finally, capta:n eccentr:c has two wonderful new wallpapers in her gallery. The first one has some beautiful shades of blue in it. The second features some lovely fanart by Lorelai. Thank you very much for sending these in, capta:n eccentr:c.

Artist Pechan has a lovely new black and white drawing of Saitou, looking as cool as ever. I think the artist did a great job at capturing the Shinsengumi captain's personality. Wonderfully done. Bold lines. Cool shading. Thanks so much to Pechan for sending this in. Do have a look, everyone.
Artist Valet has a gorgeous new picture of Kenshin posted. Beautiful line art that looks as good as official canon pics, if not better. Great color and shading. And a gorgeous background. Beautiful work. Thanks very much to Valet for sharing the pic with us. Do check it out, folks.

Chapter 3 of An Unexpected Lesson by Conspirator has been posted. Joy! I love Conspirator's writings because of the wonderfully engaging storytelling voice apparent in all of Conspirator's stories. A fascinating tale about Kenshin's time masquerading as a woman amongst a Kabuki troupe. Great premise. Great story. A wonderful read, as always. Check it out!
Tani-chan has a few new pics added to the gallery. The first two are of Kaoru and Tomoe, respectively. Lovely colors and moods in those pics. The final pic is quite cute. Kenshin and Kaoru dressed in Zelda attire. Crossover fanarts are always interesting, aren't they? Have a look, please. And thanks to Tani-chan for sending these in.
Monica has an adorable new oekaki pic posted. This one is of Misao, looking as happy as ever. Bright happy colors. Adorable chibi styled drawing. Thanks so much to Monica for sending this pic in. Please do take a look at it, everyone!

Pechan has a great new pic from a Saitou fan fic of hers posted at the gallery. Once again, her pencil work is wonderfully done. And the pic is filled with emotion. Nice work. Thanks so much for sending this in, Pechan.
ConRtist has a few new pics up at the gallery. All of them are great, but my favorite has got to be the one with the Pocky. It was just too funny! Intrigued? I bet you are. Thanks so much to ConRtist for sharing her cool pics.
Trunkschan90 has a new doujinshi pic posted. An interesting (and very funny) explanation as to how Okina broke his hand. This was originally done for a contest at The Shrine of Ice and Fire. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful story/artwork, trunkschan.
Crystal Renee has a wonderful new wallpaper posted. This one features Misao. I like the solar eclipse background. Thanks so much to Crystal for sharing her fabulous work.
Please check out all the new submission, everyone. Plenty of cool stuff to look at.

I just got home from a shoot. (It's 12 AM in my time zone.) I have to go to bed soon since I'm getting up early to go location hunting tomorrow. Will update tomorrow (er, today, actually), probably in the evening. Sorry about the delays recently. I anticipate I'll be able to update more regularly again in about 2 or 3 weeks. That's when our shooting schedule finishes. Until then, I'll try to update at least twice a week. Thanks for being patient with my crazy schedule.
