Fanart contest anyone? Yup, once again, it's that time of year. And I'm wondering if there's any interest. If so, please chime in. And please spread the word and see if any of your friends are still interested, whether you're at FFnet or DeviantArt or Gaia or some RK related site. With this website as inactive as it has been this winter, I'm not sure if people will see this note. I hope everyone has been well. I've been busy this year doing freelance artwork. And lately, I've been working on a studio feature doing visual effects, which has been a really exciting and great experience. I'm hoping to do more if possible. So anyway, I hope people are still interested. I know I still love RK and am still making fanart of if occasionally. I always look forward to more great artwork from people. Okay, the contest banners are finally finished for those who received prizes and honorable mentions. Thanks so much to everyone who participated this year. If you won a banner and would like to post it on-line, please feel free to do so. (Yes, you can hotlink it if you don't have your own hosting service!) You can view the banner at its proper size and find the URL of it by right-clicking on it and selecting View Image. This will show your banner alone in the browser. The Award Page is up. :) Congrats to those who received awards. And thanks so much to everyone for participating and making this year's contest such a wonderful event. This was another hard year for judging. So many awesome entries! As always, there were some excellent pictures that didn't get any awards. That always makes me a little sad. I hope people don't find it too discouraging if they didn't get an award. I know that some of my personal favorites didn't get them, but I still think they're lovely works of art and deserving of praise. Really, there were so many wonderful pictures this year! Oh, please note that most of the award banners are NOT FINISHED! Sorry, but I need to get some sleep tonight since I'm going out of town and driving 8 hours alone tomorrow (erm, today).
